Aware Parenting in Lithuania

Aletha J. Solter – šveicarų kilmės raidos psichologė, gyvenanti Amerikoje, pietų Kalifornijoje. Ji studijavo Šveicarijoje, Ženevoje, pas dr. Jeaną Piaget (Žaną Piažė), ten įgijo Žmogaus biologijos magistrės laipsnį. Vėliau Kalifornijos universitete apsigynė daktaro disertaciją. Šiuo metu A. Solter plačiai Žinoma kaip prieraišumo, traumos, nebaudžiamosios disciplinos ekspertė, ji yra įkūrusi Sąmoningos tėvystės institutą (Aware Parenting Institute), parašiusi penkias knygas, jau išverstas į daugybę užsienio kalbų.

The Aware Parenting Institute is an international organization founded by Aletha Solter, Ph.D. (a Swiss/American developmental psychologist). The Aware Parenting approach is based on Aletha Solter's books: The Aware Baby, Cooperative and Connected, Tears and Tantrums, Raising Drug-Free Kids, Attachment Play, and Healing Your Traumatized Child.

Aletha Solter led workshops for parents and professionals in Kaunas and Vilnius in April, 2023.

Four of her books have been translated into Lithuanian (published by Žmogaus psichologijos studija).
